Graveside services for Alberta C. Pahl will be 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at Riverside Cemetery, Moline, IL. Memorials may be made to Augustana College.
Alberta was born January 3, 1907 in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of Albert & Elizabeth (Ruch) Pahl. Alberta graduated from Augustana College, Rock Island in 1928 and taught at McKinley Elementary School in Silvis, IL for 39 years, retiring in 1967. She was a member of Bettendorf Presbyterian Church, Oakwood Country Club, Coal Valley, IL, and the Augustana College Alumni Board. She was also a long time member of the Beta Epsilon Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International Sorority.
Those left to honor her memory include her cousin, Veronica Deffibaugh of Vernon, TX and several close friends.
