Memorial services for Allan Henry Ward, 88, of Bettendorf, will be 10:00 am on Saturday at Asbury Methodist Church, Bettendorf. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery, Geneseo, IL. Family will greet friends on Saturday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the church. 

 Allan passed away, peacefully, on Friday, January 31, 2025, at Quartet Assisted Living in Bettendorf.

 Allan was born on July 1, 1936, in Chicago, IL, the son of Wilbur and Ida (Wiejahn) Ward. After graduating Cordova High School, he attended Bradley University before joining in the U.S. Army and was stationed at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky and was honorably discharged. He met and married Maxine Owenby on April 12, 1958, in Canton, North Carolina and they moved to Moline, Illinois. 

 He worked as a Sales Manager for McKesson & Robbins Wholesale Drugs in Rock Island, IL for 23 years before moving to Kansas City where he worked in the Wholesale Drug industry for 19 years before retiring in 2010. He was an avid golfer, a Kansas City Chiefs Fan, and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Bella Vista, AR. 

 Survivors include his wife, Maxine of Bettendorf, his daughter, Vickie (Steve) Demuth of Frankston, TX, sons, Victor Ward of Gladstone, MO, Greg (Deborah) Ward of Bettendorf, IA, grandchildren, Britney, Brock, Morgan, Devin, Curtis, Andrea, great-grandchildren, Cody, Kylie, Aleyna, Beau, Molly, Cassian, Silas, Finnegan, Nathan and a sister, Joan (Brad) Windisch of Geneseo, IL. 

 He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Bradley Reindl, a sister, Jeanne Matson and brothers, Norman Ward and Bill Ward. 

  Memorials can be made to the First United Methodist Church in Bella Vista, AR.
