A. Lorraine Hadesbeck

Lorraine Hadesbeck, 77, a resident of Bettendorf, Iowa died Monday, April 18, 2005 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus in Davenport, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, April 21, 2005 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel, Bettendorf. Private burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family..
She was born February 19, 1928 in Thompson, Illinois, the daughter of Harold Eber & Alice Iola (Johnson) Roggendorf. On February 14, 1947, she was united in marriage to Robert C. Hadesbeck in Clinton, Iowa. He preceded her in death on September 25, 1971.
Lorraine was the manager of the Children’s Department at Younker’s in Duck Creek and retired several years ago after 17 years of service.
Among the things she enjoyed were playing cards with her friends, playing bingo and sports, especially the Chicago Cubs.
Those left to honor her memory include her son, Robert of Vergas, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Robert & Christopher; her sisters, Carolyn Wells & her husband, Stuart of Pryor, Oklahoma and Betty Kelly of Clinton, Iowa; and her brothers, Richard Roggendorf of Camanche, Iowa and Harold Roggendorf & his wife, Brenda of Bettendorf.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and by her sisters, Phyllis Shadle and Viola Rothert.
