Ambrose was born January 4, 2000 in Davenport, Iowa, the beloved son of Bill & Nicole (Siem) Kearney and had recently completed the 1st grade at Virgil Grissom Elementary School in Princeton.
He loved sports of all kinds, especially basketball, football and baseball. In addition, he was an avid fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes, the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears. Ambrose loved video games and could master them in a very short time.
Those left to honor his memory include his parents, Bill & Nicole Kearney; his brothers, Parker & Landon; his grandparents, Dean & Ronda Siem of Princeton and Vicki Kearney of Eldridge, Iowa; his aunts, Amy (Bill) Bowe of Princeton and Shai (Joe) Reese of Dixon, Iowa; his uncles, Cory (Lissa Kucher) Siem of Princeton and Marty (Jaci) Kearney of Bettendorf; and many cousins, other relatives and wonderful friends.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the many wonderful people who offered their love, prayers and support during this difficult time. And a special word of thanks to the staff of the University of Iowa Hospital Pediatric Bone Marrow Unit who loved and cared for Ambrose as they would their own child.
Ambrose was preceded in death by his grandpa, Gene Kearney in 1987.
