Angela Deters

Angela S. “Angie” Deters, 58, a resident of rural Muscatine, Iowa died on Sunday, January 1, 2012 at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus in Davenport following a sudden illness.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home of Bettendorf. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday at Rose Hill Cemetery, Buffalo, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the Scott County Humane Society.
She was born October 17, 1953 in Rock Island, Illinois, the daughter of Alvin & Jeanette (Bradley) Quale. On February 27, 1982, she was united in marriage to Doc Harold Deters in Rock Island.
Angie was employed as a postal clerk for 36 years and had worked in the post offices in Muscatine, Rock Island, Buffalo and Walcott, Iowa.
She loved her dogs & cats, enjoyed living along the river, watching the eagles in winter and boating in the summer.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Doc; her sisters, Adelle (Mike) Klinge of Parksburg, Pennsylvania, Sharon (Larry) Howell of Seattle, Washington, Beth Zonenblick of Chicago, Illinois and Mary Jane Fier of Chicago; and many nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
Her parents preceded her in death.
