      Ann B. Connors, 64, of Bettendorf passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

      Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening, September 9th at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. A private family inurnment will be at Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or to King’s Harvest Pet Rescue No-Kill Shelter, Davenport. 

      Ann was born July 10, 1960 in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of John and Joy (Schilling) Connolly. She graduated from United Township High School in 1978. On January 2, 1982, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, William “Bill” Connors in Davenport. In her early years, Ann worked as a secretary for the Davenport Police Department and the City of Davenport. Later in life, she worked for various law firms as a legal secretary and as a para educator at Sudlow Middle School. Above all, Ann was a devoted wife to Bill and mother to her son, Alex. She was a collector of sorts, including Barbies, Beanie Babies, Lladró figurines, and Hallmark ornaments. Ann enjoyed antique and thrift shopping, garage sales and spending time with those she loved.

      Those left to honor her memory are her husband, Bill Connors of Bettendorf, son, Alex (Rebecca) Connors of Davenport; siblings, John Connolly, Rebecca Travers, Mike Connolly, and Katherine Connolly; and step-children, Bill Connors, Rachel Peña, Paul Connors, and Mark Connors.

      In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Michelle Connolly.
