Ann Major

Ann Elizabeth Major, 49, of Davenport, died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at her home.

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Bettendorf. Burial will be in Oakdale Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13 ^th at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Race for the Cure. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf is assisting the family with arrangements.

Ann was born on September 26, 1962 in Harvey, IL, the daughter of Robert Francis and Gloria Ann (Village) Richardson. On September 4, 1993, she married David Edward Major, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Bettendorf.

Ann worked for the Corvel Corp as a Nurse for 13 years. She was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church and National Medicare Set Aside Specialists. Ann enjoyed reading and golfing and was a Girl Scout leader.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, David Major; her daughter, Alexa Christine Major of Davenport; her parents, Robert and Gloria Richardson of Arlington Heights, IL; two sisters, Roberta (Harv Tettelbaum) Richardson of Evergreen, CO and Meg (Christopher) Domzalski of Arlington Heights, IL; two brothers, Mike Richardson of Arlington Heights, IL and Pete Richardson of Anna, IL.
