Ann Rash, 60, a resident of Bettendorf, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Burial will be at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Saturday. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Born on October 4, 1955 in Michigan, Ann was the daughter of Donald Lawrence and Catherine Cline. On May 3, 1971, Ann married William D. Rash. He preceded her in death on November 27, 2015.
Ann worked in logistics for different warehouses during her lifetime. She enjoyed crocheting and photography.
Those left to honor her memory include her children, Angela (Dave) McGinty of Bettendorf and William (Jenny) Rash of Davenport; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sister, Sheila Shanklin; brothers, David Mosher, Brian Smith, Russ Lawrence and Don Lawrence.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter.
