Audrey J. Manson, 88, of Bettendorf, Iowa, died Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at the Fountains in Bettendorf.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 2, 2017 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Davenport, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Art Institute of Chicago, 111 S. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60603.
Audrey was born November 22, 1928 in Chicago, Ilinois, the daughter of Paul & Myrtle (Erickson) Larson. She was united in marriage to David W. Manson on September 15, 1962 in Chicago.
A graduate of Northpark College in Chicago and the University of Illinois in Champaign, Illinois, Audrey designed jewelry which she had sold in her own shop. Later in life, she was an antique dealer.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, David; her daughter and son-in-law, Kim Ann & Greg Christensen of Coralville, Iowa; her son, Bruce Larson Manson of Orlando, Florida; and her grandchildren, Jordan, Elle and James Christensen.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
