Austin L. Wells, 17, a resident of Dover, Illinois died Saturday, June 9, 2007 in Princeton, Illinois.
At the family’s request, services for Austin will be private and cremation rights will be accorded. Memorials in Austin’s memory may be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Quad Cities, 131 W. 3rd St. Suite M13, Davenport, Iowa 52801. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Austin was born June 23, 1989 in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Jerry C. Wells and Mindy S. (Davis) Hockenberry.
Austin enjoyed watching the Ultimate Fighting Championship, being with friends, camping, fishing, riding dirt bikes and puppeteering at his church.
Those left to honor his memory include his father, Jerry C. Wells and his wife Diana of Dover, Illinois; his mother, Mindy S. (Davis) Hockenberry and her husband Kevin of Fruitland, Iowa; his brothers, Tyler, Justice and Dalton; his sisters, Mckenzie and Genna; his grandparents, Al & Robin Davis and many other relatives.
Austin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents.
