Bambi Anderson

 Bambi S. Anderson, 66, of Bettendorf passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Graveside services will be held at Glendale Cemetery, LeClaire on Monday, September 23rd. Those attending should meet at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home at 11:30 a.m. on Monday morning to join the procession to the cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family. 

 Bambi was born on January 26, 1958 in Davenport, the daughter of Robert and Laura (Klemme) Wickham Sr. She attended Bettendorf High School and continued her education at Hamilton Technical College, where she achieved her degree as a medical assistant. On August 31, 1973, Bambi was united in marriage to Frank Anderson in Bettendorf. She worked as a pharmaceutical technician at Omnicare in Davenport. Bambi enjoyed being outdoors, whether she was fishing, camping, or hunting. Above all, she was a devoted wife, mom, and grandma. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her German Shepherds. 

 Those left to honor her memory are her husband, Frank Anderson of Bettendorf; children, Melissa (Rich) McCrery of Walcott and Eric (Amanda) Anderson of Moline; grandchildren, Kaylee Anderson, Caleb Blieu, Autum Blieu, Karissa Anderson, Tyler McCrery, Hunter Anderson, and CatCora McCrery; great-grandchildren, Rozellia Anderson and Olson Blieu; and her sister, Lori (Bill) Hightower of Sioux City, Iowa. 

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Robert & Mary Wickham Jr.
