Barbara Kay Jerrett, 62, of Bettendorf, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Trinity Bettendorf.
A memorial gathering to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, October 3, 2011 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. The family would like to invite friends and family for a sharing of memories at 7:00 P.M. following the visitation. Private burial services will be held at Davenport Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
Barbara was born March 1, 1949 in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the daughter of Donald & Marjorie (Wilson) Blair. She was employed as a Program Support Specialist with the Rock Island Economic Growth Corporation.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle & Dennis DeMars of Atlanta, Georgia, her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel & Beeta Jerrett of Boston, Massachusetts; her grandchildren, Taylor & Dylan DeMars; and her brother and sister-in-law, Barry & Debbie Blair of Dubuque, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
