Barbara A. Huffman, 64, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died Sunday, April 11, 2004 at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel, Bettendorf. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
She was born October 19, 1939 in LaSalle, Illinois, the daughter of Frederick & Florence (Lyewski) Wixom.
Barbara was employed as a waitress at the Diner in Davenport and in earlier years, at Sullivan’s in Rock Island, Illinois.
In her leisure time, she enjoyed playing cards with her friends.
Those left to honor her memory include her son & daughter-in-law, Earnest "Rick" & Cindy Richtman of Moline, Illinois; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; her sisters, Roberta Nabor of Davenport and Lois Levetzow of Buffalo, Iowa; her aunt, Shirley Petzel of Peru, Illinois; and her special friend & companion with whom she resided, Larry Dewitt.
Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, James Wixom; and by her parents.
