Beatrice L. "Bea" Goetz

Beatrice L. ‘Bea” Goetz, 92, a resident of Bettendorf, died Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at Trinity Pathway Hospice at Terrace Park, Bettendorf.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 12, 2007 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family.
Bea was born October 26, 1914 in Eddyville, Kentucky, the daughter of Leonard & Liza (Hilton) Holmes. She was united in marriage to Cletus J. Goetz on October 1, 1938 in Moline, Illinois. He preceded her in death on March 21, 1995
Bea retired in 1965 from the former Davis Greenhouse in Bettendorf after 13 years of employment. She was a member of the Bettendorf Church of the Nazarene. She greatly enjoyed the company of her family and her grandchildren.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughter and son-in-law, Alice & Larry Bradley, of Milan, Illinois; her son and daughter-in-law, David & Emma Goetz, of Bettendorf; her grandchildren, Keith, Kevin, Dawn, Belinda, Teresa, Christine, and David, Al, and Scott; her great-grandchildren, Cory, Cassie, Brandi, Amanda, Tamra, Brittney, Shelby, Christopher, Heather, Sierra, Gregory, Dean, Elizabeth, Timothy, and Jessica; and three great-great grandchildren
Bea was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Cletus; her sisters, Virna James, Lois Barker, Anna Mae Schultz, Viola Barker and Ruby Holmes; her brothers, Willis, James, Edward and Olvin Holmes; and a grandson, Allan Bradley.
