Beau Ryan Carroll, 25, a resident of Bettendorf, Iowa died on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at his home.

Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Monday, December 2, 2013 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home of Bettendorf.  Private family graveside services will be Tuesday at Cordova Cemetery in Cordova, Illinois.  Memorials may be made to the Quad-City Animal Welfare Center of Milan, Illinois.

He was born in Rock Island, Illinois on June 29, 1988, the son of Randy C. Carroll & Cathi J. (Butler) Drechsler and was a graduate of Bettendorf High School.  Following his graduation, he received additional vocational training through the Job Corps in Dennison, Iowa.

Beau was employed as a welder for Black’s Fabrication of Hillsdale, Illinois and also worked part-time at Ross’s Restaurant of Bettendorf.

He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Beau also loved music and enjoyed going to concerts.

Those left to honor his memory include his mother, Cathi (Kent) Drechsler of Princeton, Iowa; his father, Randy (Beth) Carroll of Hampton, Illinois; his sisters, Jacie Carroll of Hampton and Shannon Drechsler of Davenport, Iowa; his brothers, Jacob Carroll of Hampton and Nathan Drechsler in California; his grandparents, Margie (Gary) Sells of Oquawka, Illinois and Elizabeth Sandler of Moline, Illinois; his aunts & uncles, Lori (Greg) Williams of Moline, Terri (Mick) Wilson of Milan, Illinois, Mark Butler of Oquawka, Scott (Vonne) Butler of Gladstone, Illinois, Amy (Shane) Beelman of Oquawka, Kimmie (Donald) Dickens of Moline and Tami Butler of Oquawka; several cousins and many wonderful friends.

Beau was preceded in death by his beloved Aunt Debbie.
