Betty L. Anderson

Betty Lee Anderson, 70, of Bettendorf, went to her Lord on Friday, January 25, 2008 after a brief battle with cancer.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Betty was born November 4, 1937 in Davenport, the daughter of Charles & Dorothy (Chapman) Roseleaf. She was united in marriage to Buddy L. Anderson on September 2, 1967 in Bettendorf.
Betty enjoyed crocheting and bowling. She was the secretary for the Elbow Mixed Bowling League for many years. She was also a charter member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Bettendorf. She enjoyed watching football, basketball and soccer, especially when her daughters and grandchildren played.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Buddy; her daughters, Tracy Lee and Darcy Lee, of Bettendorf; her grandchildren, Tryca, Tygan, Talye, and Daycara; her sister, Darlene Roseleaf, of Bettendorf; and extended family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and by her brother Skip Roseleaf.
