Beverly J. McNeill, 85, of Davenport, Iowa, died Saturday, December 26, 2015 at the Bettendorf Healthcare Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home and from 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday until the time of the services at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Rapids City Cemetery in Rapids City, Illinois.  Memorials may be made to Lipedema Foundation.

Bev was born February 19, 1930 in Kewanee, Illinois, the daughter, of Jessie & Myrtle (Talbot) Huffman.  She was united in marriage to Ralph W. McNeill on November 26, 1953 in Davenport.  He preceded her in death on August 19, 1994.

Bev had lived on a farm in Port Byron for over forty years.  She enjoyed crocheting, crafts, the company of all animals and tending to her flower and herb gardens.  She greatly enjoyed cooking and she will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  Bev had a strong faith in the Lord and was always willing to help others.

Those left to honor her memory include her sister, Dorothy Bernauer of Eldridge, Iowa; her children, Linda (Terry) Hoy of Adel, Iowa, Sheryll (Ken) Kisling of Aledo, Illinois, Rebecca Walker of Muscatine, Iowa, Christine (Russell) Fullmer of LeClaire, Iowa and Annette Fullmer of Davenport; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her husband, Ralph, Bev was preceded in death by her son, Ralph Benjamin McNeill; her brother, Donald; and her sisters, Francis, Hazel and Barbara.
