Beverly Noftsker

Beverly J. Noftsker, 75, a resident of Bettendorf, passed away Monday, December 14, 2015 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, downtown Davenport. Burial will be at Oakdale Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 18th at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Memorials may be made to St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
Born on November 12, 1940 in Davenport, Beverly was the daughter of Edward P. and Betty J. (Prose) Schneider. On September 23, 1961 she married Allen Noftsker.
Beverly continued her parents business, Schneider’s TV & Appliance Store in Bettendorf which was later named Ed’s Appliance. She owned and operated the store for 32 years. Beverly enjoyed going to the gambling boat, playing the slot machines. She cherished her time spent with her family.
Those left to honor her memory include her children, Timothy Noftsker and his wife Linda of Bettendorf and Kimberly Noftsker of Davenport; grandchildren, Jayson Jones, Alexis Noftsker, John Noftsker and Lauren Lamourt.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Carole.
