There will be a service to celebrate the life of Bobbi Jean Ford, 59, of Davenport, 3:00 pm, July 4, 2024 at Jungle Town Campground, Oxford Junction, IA.
Bobbi passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023, at her home in Davenport.
Bobbi Jean Millhouse was born on August 18, 1964, in Iowa City, IA, the daughter of Kenneth and Barbara (Raines) Millhouse. She grew up in LeClaire and graduated from Pleasant Valley High School in 1982. Bobbi married Kirk Ford on July 4, 2003, in Davenport. She worked as a C.N.A. and medical assistant for Genesis Medical Center for over 20 years.
Bobbi was a courageous, free spirit. She was devoted wife to her loving husband Kirk and a loving mother and grandmother to all her children and grandchildren. She loved being outdoors, especially at her campground. She knew how to have fun and that was always the life of the party. She loved spending time with her friends and family. She had a smile that lit up every picture she was in. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting and handmaking purses as a hobbies.
Bobbi loved watching the hummingbirds at her favorite place. It was there she felt the most peace and comfort. She is at peace now and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her husband Kirk, of Davenport, children, Samantha Scott of Park View, IA, Jeffery Scott of Davenport, David (Jamie) Scott of Gorin, MO, Christopher (Bambi) Scott of Davenport, Zachary Ford of Davenport, Thirteen grandchildren, parents, Kenneth and Barbara Millhouse of Kirksville, MO, sister, Cathy Millhouse of Davenport, brothers, Charles Millhouse of IL, and Kenneth Millhouse Jr. of Davenport.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
