Bret K. “Buddha” Cary, 42 of Davenport, died Monday, March 7, 2016.
Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2016 at Vineyard Church of Davenport. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Friday at the church. Memorials may be made to Vineyard Church of Davenport or to the family.
Bret was born on October 9, 1973 in Davenport, the son of Dallas and Judith (Pfaff) Cary.
Bret worked as a disc jockey; in property management; and was involved in a tremendous amount of volunteer work through King’s Harvest Ministries and Vineyard Church of Davenport. He was currently studying to become a minister and he loved music.
Those left to honor his memory include his mother, Judy Cary of Bettendorf; a daughter, Shelby Pate of Wichita, Kansas; brothers, Bryan Cary of Hawaii and Brad Cary of Rockford, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Bart and his grandparents.
