Carl Brandle

Carl F. J. “Fred” Brandle, 63, a resident of Bettendorf, Iowa died Sunday, July 25, 2004 at his home following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 29, 2004 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel, Bettendorf. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
He was born in Rock Island, Illinois on August 21, 1940, the son of Simon Earl & Agnes Ann (Aitkens) Brandle Jr.
Carl was employed as a bartender and in earlier years, worked at McLaughlin Body Company, Oscar Mayer & Company and at J. I. Case.
In his leisure time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
Carl was a loving father, “Papa,” brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
The family would like to extend their special thanks to Carl’s dear friend, Joyce Kunzle of Moline, Illinois.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents; and by his wives, Joanne Cumby and Gail Snyder.
