Carl Dean Harris

Memorial services for Carl Dean Harris, 64, of Davenport, will be 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at the Cross Creek Community Center located at 5901 Elmore Ave., Davenport. Family will greet friends on Saturday from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Community Center. 

Carl passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, IA. 

Carl was born on April 22, 1959, in St. Louis, MO, the son of Charles and Leora (Fitzpatrick) Harris. He worked as a Home Improvement, Independent Contractor in the Quad City and Minnesota areas. He enjoyed singing, listening to Jazz, playing pool and dice.

Survivors include his life partner, Rochelle Leith of Red Falls, MN,   children, Stephanie (Steve) Boyd of Atlanta, GA, Jermaine (Windy) Davis of Blountville, TN, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, sisters, Karen Coleman of Davenport, Patricia Jones of MN, Deborah Henry of MN, Marilyn Shorter of Davenport, brothers, Robert Harris of Davenport, Felton Harris of MN, Gery Harris of MN, and Larry Harris of Davenport.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Helen Harris, brothers, Charles Harris Jr. and Danny Harris.
