Carl Rankin

There will be a celebration of life at a later date for Carl Eugene Rankin, 57, of Davenport, Iowa. Carl passed way on Sunday, October 24, 2021 in Aledo, Illinois.

Carl was born on January 10, 1964 in Davenport, Iowa, the son of John and Delores (Tucker) Rankin. Carl enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his daughter; Whitney Rankin of Davenport, Iowa, grandchildren; Kira Cross and Summer Cross, sisters; Julie Gilbert of Redrock, Texas, Tina (Tim) Flynn of Naperville, Illinois, brothers; John (Bambi) Rankin of Princeton, Iowa, Kelly Rankin of LeClaire, Iowa, nieces; Jamie Burroughs, Stacey Burroughs, Crista Wells,  Barbie Joplin and his lifelong pet, Peanut.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother; Richard Rankin.
