Carla Ann Reising, 73, a resident of Eldridge, died Friday, January 1, 2016 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus in Davenport.
A memorial gathering will be held from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Chambers Funeral Home in Eldridge. Memorials may be made to the family.
Born on February 11, 1942 in Salina, Kansas, Carla was the daughter of Carl and Frances Pauline (Graves) Heimersen. On November 30, 1967 in San Clemente, California, she married Michael Reising.
Carla worked for Red Jacket for over 25 years. She enjoyed sewing, crafts and shopping.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Michael; children, Beth Zumwalt of Waukee, Iowa, Michael (Karri) Reising of Davenport and Christine Roseman of Eldridge; grandchildren, Michelle, Emily, Sarah, Lily, M.J. and Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
