Caryl Graham

Caryl Louise Graham, 90, a resident of Bettendorf, Iowa and formerly of Princeton, Iowa died on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at the Bettendorf Healthcare Center.

Private family services will be held at Clinton Lawn Cemetery, Clinton, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the Bettendorf Healthcare Center. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home of Bettendorf is assisting the family with arrangements.

She was born in Princeton on June 7, 1920, the daughter of Amos & Cora Jones. On September 7, 1940, she was united in marriage to Leonard C. Graham at Zion Lutheran Church in Princeton. He preceded her in death on May 14, 2003.

Caryl was a devoted homemaker, wife & mom. She was a wonderful cook, enjoyed gardening and loved caring for her flowers. At age 90, she was the oldest living member of Zion Lutheran Church of Princeton.

Those left to honor her memory include her son, Steve (Karen) Graham of Princeton; her grandchildren, Aundrea Graham and Erick (Melissa) Graham; her great-grandchildren, Ethan & Nolan; and her sister-in-law, Dorothy Graham of LeClaire, Iowa.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Waldo Jones; and by her half-sisters, Irene Benson and Margaret Pruitt.
