Catherine A. “Kitty” Kirk, 85, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus in Davenport.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, June 20, 2008 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel, Bettendorf, Iowa. Burial will be at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
She was born August 5, 1922 in Davenport, the daughter of Forrest G. & Clementine C. (Berry) Warren. In 1973, she married Jesse Kirk in Davenport. He preceded her in death in 1995.
Those left to honor her memory include her sisters, Victoria “Vicki” Davis and Martha “Marty” Druhl, both of Davenport and her brothers, Herbert “Herbie” Warren of Davenport and Harvey Warren of Warner Robins, Georgia.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Clementine Warren; and her brothers, William “Cannonball” Warren and Forrest Warren Jr.
