Charles Davis

Charles C. “Chuck” Davis, 74, a resident of Davenport, Iowa, passed away on Sunday October 20, 2013.
Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM Friday October 25, 2013 at Fairmount Cemetery in the Mausoleum.
Charles was born February 19, 1939 to Crowlen Davis and Katherine (Wagner) Davis. He married Charlene Claire Rose on July 31, 1964 in Davenport. She passed away December 20, 2001.
Charles worked for AD Huesing Bottling Works, retiring in 1983. He loved working the Stock Car races, especially in the pits. Chuck loved fishing, bowling, shooting pool, and darts. He loved his Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears.
Those left to honor his memory are: daughters Michelle Davis, Eldridge, and Melanie (Joseph) Anders, Davenport, with whom he resided; granddaughter Tamera “Tammy” Anders, Davenport; sisters Mary (Manuel) Baugher and Martha Chapman; brothers Richard, Thomas, and Michael Davis; His Aunt and Uncle; His special friends Jennifer and Leonard Newton, Davenport; and several nieces and nephews
Charles was preceded in death by his wife Charlene; sister Dorothy Edwards; and his parents.
