Christine Gaskey

Christine Ann Gaskey, 45, a resident of Davenport, Iowa passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012 at her home following a nine month battle with Mantle Cell Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

A memorial gathering will be held from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the family.

Christine was born June 18, 1966 in Moline Illinois the daughter of Ken and Delores (DeSmet) Grell.

She worked for many years in the warehouse at Nestle Purina in Davenport. She enjoyed fishing, traveling, shopping, her friends at Chuck’s Tap and being with her family.

Those left to honor her memory include her parents, Ken and Delores Grell, Dixon, Iowa; the love of her life, David Fahrenkrog, Davenport; her daughters, Kimberly (Rick Carlton) Hills, Davenport and Caitlyn Hills, Davenport; her son, Seth (Christa McCrery) Coulter, Manchester, Iowa; her grandchildren, Cole Coulter, Alex Melton and Tristan Melton; her sisters, Tammy (Chris) Goss, Indiana, Becky (Ricky) Worton, Davenport, Theresa (David) Spicer, Davenport and Heather Worton, Davenport and her brothers, Shawn (Christin) Worton, Bettendorf and Tyler Worton, Davenport.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hank and Gwendolyn Worton and Emil and Letha DeSmet.
