Christine Ann Nichols, 40, a resident of LeClaire, Iowa died Saturday, March 26, 2011 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Bettendorf, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf, Iowa. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery, LeClaire, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the Northwestern Brain Tumor Institute, Northwestern University.

Christine Ann Pillers was born on March 31, 1970 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of G. Wylie and Lona (Luckritz) Pillers. She attended school in Clinton, Iowa and graduated from Clinton High School in May of 1988. She attended Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa and graduated with a B.A. degree in Psychology in 1993.

Christine married David Alan Nichols on October 26, 1996 at Zion Lutheran Church in Clinton, Iowa. She and David lived in Kansas City until 2003 when they moved to LeClaire, Iowa. Their daughter Logan Marie Nichols was born February 10, 2000.

She enjoyed spending time gardening, drawing/art, and being around family and friends.

Her greatest joy was spending time with and raising her daughter, Logan Marie Nichols.

Her pride and joy was her daughter, Logan Marie Nichols.

She is survived by her husband, David Nichols, LeClaire, Iowa;  her daughter, Logan Marie Nichols; her parents, G. Wylie and Lona Pillers of Princeton, Iowa; her mother and father-in-law, Charles and Colleen Nichols of Desoto, Kansas; three brothers, Mark (Liza) Pillers of Olathe, Kansas, Jeffrey (Christine) Pillers of Carol Stream, Illinois and David (Stephanie) Pillers of DeWitt, Iowa; one sister-in-law, Cathy (Nathan) Haub of Shawnee, Kansas; two brothers-in-law, Chuck (Tammy) Nichols of Gardner, Kansas and Stephen (Elaine) Nichols of Fort Collins, Colorado; 14 nieces and nephews and 1 grand-niece and grand-nephew. Christine was dearly loved by all of her family.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents George W. and Esther Pillers and Elmer T. and Dorothy Luckritz.
