Christopher Harding

Christopher Michael Harding, 38, a resident of Eldridge died Sunday, June 29, 2014, at his home.
A memorial gathering will be 2-6 p.m. Friday, July 4 , at Sheridan Meadows Park on North 1st Street, Eldridge. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a fund to benefit his daughter. Chambers Funeral Home, Eldridge, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Chris was born July 15, 1975, in Waukegan, Ill., the son of Floyd Owen and Sherry Denise (Jasmin) Harding.
Chris graduated from Dubuque High School. He worked in the flooring and construction fields for numerous years. Chris enjoyed NASCAR and football, and enjoyed spending time with his daughter and special friends, Keith, Erin Hughes, Grandpa Gary, Grandma Carol and their families. He will be missed by all in his neighborhood.
Those left to honor his memory include his daughter, Faith Harding, Eldridge; parents, Floyd Harding, Eldridge, and Sherry Harding, Marion, Iowa; brothers, Michael (Angie) Harding, Burnsville, Minn., Steve Harding, Marion, and Brian Lee, Madison, Wis.; sisters, Starr (Adam) Wilson, Colorado, Brandee Novak, Texas, and Summer Novak, Highland, Wis.; grandparents, Lawrence and Delores Harding, Juda, Wis.; sister-in-law, Renee Puccio-Harding; and many nieces and nephews who will miss Chris’ sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; stepfather, Novak; and his good friend, Carrie Olson.
