Christopher L. Erwin, 33, of LeClaire, Iowa, died Sunday, June 1, 2008 at Genesis Medical Center-East Campus, Davenport as the result of an automobile accident in Riverdale, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, June 5, 2008 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Visitation will be held one hour before the services on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
Chris was born February 9, 1975 in Silvis, Illinois, the son of Kenneth & Barbara (Tweetd) Erwin. He was a graduate of Pleasant Valley High School. Chris was employed as a laborer for Laborers Union Local #309 in Rock Island, Illinois. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing up north and hiking. He was also involved with the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Sarah; his children, Emily, Joseph, and Joshua, all of LeClaire; his parents, Kenneth & Barbara, Bettendorf; and his brother, Kenneth (Amy) Erwin, Des Moines, Iowa.
