Cindie Navota

Cindie A. Navota, 59, of Bettendorf, passed away suddenly after a brief illness on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at her residence.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf.  Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.  Memorials may be directed to the Humane Society of Scott County.

Cindie was born on December 9, 1959 in Davenport, the daughter of Ken and Loni (Schiff) Heald.  She was employed with Team One Logistics at Honda as a dispatcher.  Cindie enjoyed operating the computers for Bingo at the Lion’s Club in Rock Island on Friday and Saturday nights.  She also had a love for cats and was an avid fan of Hello Kitty.

Those left to honor her memory are her daughter, Andrea Phipps of Moline, Illinois; parents, Ken and Loni Heald of Bettendorf; siblings, Jodie (Sam) Metz of Wilton, Iowa, Julie Taets of Geneseo, Illinois, Jeffery (Christina) Heald of Bettendorf; three grandchildren, Gage, Emmalin, Isabel Phipps; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and niece, Heather Fuller.
