Cody Dilley Jr.

Cody D. Dilley Jr., 2-year old son of Cody and Brittney Dilley of Walcott, Iowa died on Monday, November 14, 2022 in a fire at their home.

Private family services were held at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

Cody was born on August 31, 2020 in Iowa City, Iowa.  He was an active and energetic boy who loved the out of doors, riding his 4-wheeler, playing with his wagon and was just learning to ride his bike.

Those left to honor his memory include his parents, Cody and Brittney (Carlton) Dilley Sr., his brothers, Carmelo, Logan, Lincoln, Bentley and Anthony; his grandmother, Krystal Ricketts of Davenport; his grandfathers, Don J. Dilley of Walcott and Anthony Hoeck of Davenport; his aunts and uncles, Shawna Ricketts of Davenport, Dusty (Patricia) Dilley of Davenport and Kenny Johnson of Davenport; and close and special friends, Brandon and Amber Bedwell of Walcott.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Renda Kay Dilley and his great-grandparents, Roberta Carlton and Don and Doris Dilley.
