Coraliene M. "Corky" Clausen

Coraliene M. "Corky" Clausen, 77, formerly of Bettendorf, Iowa, passed away on April 21, 2023 at Allure of Moline, Illinois.

Her visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf.  Committal services will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Morning Sun, Iowa.  Memorials may be made to the family or to the Humane Society of Scott County.

Corky was born December 31, 1945 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Kenneth & Gladys Mae (Wells) Springsteen.  She was united in marriage to George R. Clausen on June 29, 1968 in Morning Sun.  He preceded her in death on February 21, 2017.

Corky had been a secretary with A & S Tool in Riverdale, Iowa for 20 years.  She had enjoyed roller skating in her younger years.  She enjoyed reading, the company of her friends and Kart racing with her son.

Those left to honor her memory include her son and daughter-in-law, Mike & Kelly Clausen of Rock Island, Illinois; her great-grandchildren, Kayliana and Kierian; and her brothers, Frank (Brenda) Springsteen of Morning Sun and Percy Springsteen of Hope Mills, North Carolina.
