Corinne A. West, 70, of Rock Island, passed away Monday, November 13, 2017 at her home after a long courageous battle with cancer.
There will be no services or visitation. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf is assisting the family with arrangements. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation, Genesis Hospice or any local animal shelter.
Corinne was born October 13, 1947 in Clinton, Iowa, a daughter of Carl H. & Elna D. (Ekland) Ploog. She was united in marriage to Dale R. West on January 14, 1967. Corinne had worked as an office supervisor for Von Maur for over 25 years.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughters, Lori West of Rock Island and JoAnne (Mike) Gravert of Thornton, Colorado; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and her sister, Donna (Bill) McCaughey of Chetek, Wisconsin.
Corinne was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Robert Ploog.
