C. Stuart Hudson

C. Stuart Hudson, 91, a resident of Bettendorf, Iowa died Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at his home.
Services will be private and there will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Bettendorf Children’s Museum. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf is assisting the family with arrangements.
He was born January 14, 1914 in Rockford, Illinois, the son of Claude & Jennie Hudson. On September 6, 1941, he was united in marriage to June E. Fitzgerald in Waukegan, Illinois.
Stuart was Production Control Manager for the J. I. Case Company of Bettendorf. He retired in 1979 after 44 years with the company. Prior to transferring to Bettendorf in 1971, he was with J. I. Case in Rockford.
For many years, he & his wife enjoyed attending the auto races in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In addition, he enjoyed traveling and caring for his home.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, June; his son, James Hudson of Bettendorf; his sister-in-law, Barbara Wachter of Belleville, Wisconsin; and his brothers-in-law, Gordon Smith of Rockford, Francis Fitzgerald of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin and Raymond Fitzgerald & his wife, Virginia of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Stuart was preceded in death by his sister, LaVon Smith; and his brothers, Bernard Hudson and Wilbur Hudson.
