Daniel Fullmer

Daniel M. Fullmer, 78, a life-long resident of LeClaire, died Monday, September 11, 2017 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus in Davenport.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 15, 2017 at First Presbyterian Church in LeClaire.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf.  Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in LeClaire.

Memorials may be made to the Buffalo Bill Museum or to the LeClaire Civic Center.

Dan was born November 13, 1938 in LeClaire, the son of John L. & Virginia A. (McCauley) Fullmer. He began his career as a commercial fisherman at the age of twelve.  He was united in marriage to Mary Louise Quandt who preceded him in death in 1985.  On August 19, 1991, he was united in marriage to Barbara A. Giles in Davenport.

A LeClaire icon, Dan had worked for LeClaire Manufacturing and later as a Millwright with PSI.  He owned and operated Fullmer’s Fish Market in LeClaire for many years.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Barb; his daughters, Charlene Quandt of Colorado, Julie Kuberski of Davenport and Kathy (Dewey) Stull of Marengo, Iowa; his sons, Alex Kuberski of Bushnell, Illinois, Micheal Kuberski of LeClaire, Marek Kuberski of LeClaire and Matt (Alycia) Kuberski of LeClaire; twenty-two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Ellen & Gary Council of Bettendorf, Theresa Alvarez of Pekin, Illinois, Bill & Ginny Fullmer of LeClaire, Richard & Rosanna Fullmer of LeClaire, Robert & Linda Fullmer of LeClaire, Russell & Christine Fullmer of LeClaire and Wilford Fullmer of LeClaire; and his sisters-in-law Lisa Fullmer and Dorothy Fullmer.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents; one sister and three brothers.
