Danny Orman

Danny D. Orman, 64, of LeClaire, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at his home alongside his loving family.

His funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, April 20, 2017 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf with military honors performed by the Buffalo Bill American Legion Post 347 of LeClaire.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the services on Thursday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Danny was born August 6, 1952 in Ottumwa, Iowa, the son of Herman & Gladys (Kelly) Orman.  He proudly served with the 101st Airborne in the United States Army from 1970 to 1971.  On May 3, 1975, he was united in marriage to Colleen K. Tague in Alexis, Illinois.

Danny was warehouse manager for the Crown Group in East Moline, Illinois.  He was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed collecting guns and reading.  A proud Daddy and Papa, he will be missed by his family.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Colleen; his daughter, Wendy Orman of LeClaire; his son, Danny R. (Vanessa) Orman of Bettendorf; his grandchildren, Alysha, Mya and Emma; an adopted granddaughter, Katie Weeks; his sisters, Andrea (Steve) Grupe of Pleasant Valley and Becky Ervin of Pleasant Valley; and his brothers, Bruce (Vicky) Orman of Springfield, Illinois and Roy Orman of Minnesota.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents; and his niece, Mackenzie Ervin.
