Darlene F. Gill

Darlene F. Gill, 62, a resident of LeClaire, Iowa died Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Trinity Bettendorf, Bettendorf, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel, Bettendorf, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery, LeClaire, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the family.
Darlene was born November 2, 1947 in Davenport, Iowa the daughter of William and Joyce (Gilbert) Reep. She was united in marriage to Gerald D. Gill in LeClaire, Iowa in 1969.
Darlene retired from General Foods and Genesis Health Systems.
She was a long-time member of the LeClaire Civic Center.
She enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, quilting, being outdoors and playing with her grandchildren. She had a great love for birds and flowers.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Gerald, LeClaire, Iowa; her sons, Rick (Lisa) Gill, Missouri and Scott (Jennifer) Gill, LeClaire, Iowa; her grandchildren, Justin, Brandon, Dallas, Kylie and Kelsi; her sisters, Betty Kisner, Milan, Illinois, Shirley (Ronald) Gill, Bettendorf, Iowa and Pat Rath, Davenport, Iowa; her brother, Jimmy (Debbie) Reep, Pleasant Valley, Iowa and many loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her daughter, April, her sister, Katherine and her brothers-in-law, Bob Rath and Blaine Kisner.
