David Graham

David L. Graham, 63, a resident of Davenport went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 18, 2014.
Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21 st at the funeral home. A memorial has been established in his memory.
Born on October 17, 1950 in Hamburg, Iowa, David was the son of Carl and Alleta (Groesbeck) Graham. On March 10, 2004, he married Ellen Harvey.
David was a 1968 graduate of Davenport West High School. He retired in 2004 from Oscar Mayer after 30 years of dedicated service. David enjoyed traveling, NASCAR racing, local stock car racing and listening to all kinds of music. David cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Those left to honor his memory include his loving wife Ellen; children, Rachelle (Jim) Cromer of Tipton and Gordon (Dianna) Graham of Muscatine; step-daughters, Crystal (Bryan) Sadler of Davenport and Malissa (Bryan) Willers of Washington, Iowa; grandchildren, Timothy, Wesley, Zachary, Anastasia, Dejanira, Nicholas, Conor, Alexandra and Krystal; great-granddaughter, Mackenzie; sisters, Gwen Graham of Blue Grass and Sue (Manuel) Hutchinson of Lost Nation; brother, John (Yon He) Graham of Fayetteville, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews and his two loving dogs, Casiana and Sebastian.
David was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Roger and Doyle.
