David Bruce Nusbaum, 65, a resident of Eldridge, Iowa died Sunday, December 30, 2012 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the Chambers Funeral Home, Eldridge. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the family.
David was born in Rock Island, Illinois on October 12, 1947 the son of Donald A. and Alberta F. (Bales) Nusbaum. He was united in marriage to Valene “Val” L. Stilwell on October 7, 1970 in Nashua, Iowa.
He worked as a Mechanical Designer for Case Company for many years. He enjoyed woodworking, home remodeling and playing Sudoku.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Val, Eldridge; is daughter, Jessica (Kevin) Kriner, Pingree Grove, Illinois; his sons, Noah Nusbaum, Maquoketa, Iowa and Derek (Mary) Nusbaum, Burlington, Iowa; his six grandchildren; his brothers, Tom (Joanne) Nusbaum, Phoenix, Arizona and Jeff (Wendy) Nusbaum, Moline, Illinois; his aunt, Mary Hancks, Moline and his cousin, Todd (Kathy) Freeburg, Rockford, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald.
