David D. Mcbride

David D. McBride, 56, a resident of Blue Grass, Iowa died Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Iowa City, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, July 16, 2004 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel, Bettendorf. Burial will be in the Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Blue Grass Volunteer Fire Department or the Buffalo Volunteer Ambulance Service.
David was born July 17, 1947 in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Dean & Marjorie (Dipple) McBride and was a graduate of Davenport Central High School.
He was employed as a production worker for Thatcher Plastics of Muscatine.
In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing and communicating with others on his CB radio.
Those left to honor his memory include his mother, Marjorie McBride of Blue Grass; his sisters & brothers-in-law, Shelby McGovern of Blue Grass, Joyce McBride & her husband, Mark of Riverside, California and Anita Adrian & her husband, Jim of Davenport; his brother, Tom McBride of Blue Grass; and many nieces & nephews.
David was preceded in death by his father, Dean in 1971.
