Debbra P. Graham, 61, of Davenport, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at her home, with her family by her side after a prolonged battle with cancer.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Grandview Baptist Church, 4316 Ripley Street in Davenport.  Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf.  Per her wishes, the body will be cremated.  Committal services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 9 at Rock Island National Cemetery in Rock Island, Illinois.  Those wishing to attend the services should meet at the funeral home by 9:30 a.m. on Monday.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Debbra was born March 11, 1952 in Rock Island, Illinois, the daughter of Birt & Elva (Burns) Stanley.  She was a 1971 graduate of Moline Senior High School in Moline, Illinois.

On February 10, 1973 she married Roger Graham at the Rock Island County Courthouse in Rock Island.  They celebrated their 40 th anniversary this year.  In her early years, she worked at the Blackhawk Hotel as a banquette waitress and as a hairdresser at Hair Performers and Penney’s.  Debbra had also worked in the retail business.

She was a member of Grandview Baptist Church and enjoyed crafts, sewing and crossword puzzles in the newspaper.  She also enjoyed gardening, antique shopping, bowling, cooking and baking.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Roger;  her son and daughter-in-law, Corey & Keri (Grothus) Graham; her grandchildren, Annemarie, Dominic and Lucille, all of Davenport; her brother and sister-in-law, Travis & Geri (Waggner) Stanley of East Moline, Illinois; all of her nieces and nephews; and her great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Dale Stanley.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Pastor Brian Spitzer, Sarah Mesick, Marianne West, Dr. Berg and his staff at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, and the Genesis Hospice staff of Davenport.
