Deborah A. Marten

Deborah A. Benson-Marten, 40, of Dixon, Iowa, died Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus in Davenport.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Hope Lutheran Church in Dixon. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday at Chambers Funeral Home in Eldridge. Burial will be in Dixon Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
Deb was born May 18, 1970 in Silvis, Illinois, the daughter of Donald & Betty (Jacobson) Benson. She was a 1988 graduate of Moline High School. On June 21, 2008, she was united in marriage to Loren A. Marten in Dixon.
Deb had been employed as a grain grader for River Gulf Grain in Davenport. She enjoyed flower gardening and had helped show cattle with her son, Tyler when he was in 4-H. She also collected John Deere memorabilia and enjoyed taking pictures. Most of all, she enjoyed the time spent with her family and making people happy.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Loren; her son, Tyler Baumbach (Gabrielle Moore), her parents, Don & Betty Benson, of Moline, Illinois, and her brother, Don Benson, Jr., of Colona, Illinois.
