Diana Jean “Jeanie” (Ragona) Farley, 71, a resident of Davenport, died Friday, February 10, 2017 at her home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Long Grove. Burial will be at St. Ann’s Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 13th at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Chambers Funeral Home in Eldridge is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on March 12, 1945 in Centerville, Iowa, Jeanie was the daughter of Joseph, Sr. and Diana (Kennis) Ragona. On June 18, 1966 in Centerville, she married Terry L. Farley, Sr. He preceded her in death on September 1, 2008.
Along with her husband, Terry, Jeanie was co-owner of Fraker Window & Siding Company in Davenport. She enjoyed cooking and shopping. Above all, she was a devoted mother and grandmother, cherishing her time spent with family.
Those left to honor her memory include her children, Missy (Dwight) Gittings of Calamus, Iowa and Terry (Amy Bolton) Farley, Jr. of Davenport; granddaughters, Crystal and Brittany Bolton; great-granddaughters, Kaliyah, Kya and Isabella; and a brother, Joseph Ragona, Jr. of Donahue.
In addition to her husband, Jeanie was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Paul, Andrew, John and Charlie; and a sister, Joan.
