Diane Beuse
June 22, 1936 — July 18, 2013
Jane “Diane” Beuse, 77, of LeClaire, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, July 18, 2013 with her family by her side.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. She will be laid to rest in Jack’s Cemetery in LeClaire. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services on Tuesday. Memorials may be made to Genesis Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
Diane was born on June 22, 1936 in Davenport, the daughter of George and Gwendolyn (Wilson) Pyle. On August 8, 1957 in Aledo, IL, she married Richard W. “Dick” Beuse. He preceded her in death on January 20, 2013.
Diane was a homemaker and also worked as a secretary for their business, Beuse’s Pattern Works in LeClaire. She was a very generous person, donating to many causes. Diane was an avid golfer and enjoyed crocheting, reading and was addicted to Candy Crush Saga.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughters, Lori (Dana) Biles of Eldridge, Kathy (Robin) Little of Princeton and Denise (Perry) Grant of LeClaire; three grandchildren, Shelby (Mitch) Fogle of Park View, April Allinger of Davenport and Gavin Grant of LeClaire; and one great-grandson, Nykolus Fogle of Park View.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son, Michael William Beuse.
A tribute to Diane will be held at a later date at Olathea Golf Course in LeClaire to honor her last wish, “to play one last round of golf.”
