Dianna L. Wisham

Dianna L. Wisham, 72, of Bettendorf passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024 at The Vistas at Bettendorf. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the Humane Society of Scott County. 

Dianna was born on January 2, 1952 in Davenport, the daughter of Eugene and Vera (Wright) Farrell. In 1970 she graduated from Pleasant Valley High School. Dianna worked in various local establishments as a bartender and restaurant manager. She also owned and operated the Enchanted Inn in Davenport for several years. She never knew a stranger and was often the life of the party. Dianna loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. 

Those left to honor her memory are her children, Shelley Behrens of Des Moines, Sharon (Adam) Todd of Bettendorf, and Tim (Lena Georgi) Behrens of Bettendorf; seven grandchildren, Lauren (Cody) Walther, Arianna Schabilion, Andrew Gerth, William Behrens, Nyle Todd, Nathan Behrens, and Beth Behrens; four great-grandchildren, Zola, Ava, Owen, and Collin; siblings, Janet (Doug) Koehler, Nancy Adler, Kathleen Saelens, Gene Farrell Jr., and Terry Farrell; and brother-in-law, Bill Behrens.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Sarah Behrens; and siblings, Dennis and Bill Farrell, and Debbie Behrens.

The family would like to thank the staff at Genesis Hospice and The Vistas at Bettendorf Memory Care Unit, for their kind and compassionate care.
