Dolly F. Scott

Dolly F. Scott, 91, a resident of the Kahl Home for the Aged in Davenport, Iowa died on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at the Kahl Home. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the McGinnis-Chamber Funeral Home in Bettendorf, Iowa. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Kahl Home.

Dolly was born in Centerville, Iowa on February 16, 1933, the daughter of Oliver and Juanita (Engle) Morris McDanel and was a graduate of Centerville High School. On May 5, 1951, she was united in marriage to Billie R. Scott in Centerville. He preceded her in death on February 3, 2013.

During her working years, she was employed primarily in accounting and payroll. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her beloved family.

Those left to honor her memory include her son, Larry Scott; her grandchildren, Jeff Hentze, Sherry (Chad) Bolosan, Kyle Scott and Kevin (Alicia) Scott; her great-grandchildren, Annabelle, Charlotte & Emma Bolosan and Aubrey Scott.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Hentze; her sister, Mildred Ruscitto; and her brothers, Russell, Billy, Neil, Oliver “Jackie” and Richard Morris.
