Donna Lindsey-Schnoor, 74, a resident of Scottsdale, Arizona and formerly of Davenport, Iowa and LeClaire, Iowa passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at Brighten Gardens Hospice of the Valley in Scottsdale.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:30 P.M. Monday, October 15, 2007 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, Arizona 85014 in care of Donna Schnoor.
Donna was born on March 8, 1933 in Davenport, attended Davenport High School and St. Ambrose College.
She retired from the Rock Island Arsenal as a contract specialist after 31 years of government service. She was the owner of the Cody Inn and the Bear’s Inn in LeClaire, Iowa.
Among the things she enjoyed were sewing, flower gardening, cooking and spending time with her family and beloved dog, “Bailey.”
Those left to honor her memory include her three children, Victoria (Michael) Gill in Nevada, Ronald (Camille) Schorr in Arizona and Tracy Gosar in Colorado; her four grandchildren, Kristy Gill, Klayton Gosar, Isabella & Gabrielle Schorr; her brother, Edwin Lindsey; her nieces, Becky, Kim & Lisa Lindsey; and her nephew, Brett Lindsey.
Her husband, Wayne Schnoor and her parents, Edwin & Dorothy Lindsey preceded her in death.
Donna’s family would like to send their special appreciation to the Hospice of the Valley for their attentive care of their mother.
