Dorothea C. Ball, 86, a resident of Kaysville, Utah and formerly of Bettendorf, Iowa died Monday, February 23, 2004 at Apple Tree Retirement Village in Kaysville.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 28, 2004 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel, Bettendorf. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday, February 27, 2004 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Apple Tree Retirement Village, Kaysville, Utah.
The former Dorothea C. Correy was born March 16, 1917 in Davenport the daughter of James & Vera (Grapengater) Correy. She was united in marriage to Earl E. Ball on October 15, 1940 in Bettendorf, Iowa. He preceded her in death on February 2, 2001
Dorothea had a passion for the outdoors including camping, fishing and hiking. She also enjoyed reading and traveling.
Those left to honor her memory include, her daughters & son-in-law, Sharon & Carl Downing of Kaysville, Utah; and Vera Henke of San Pedro, California; her son & daughter-in-law Earl & Mary Ball of Grayslake, Illinois; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
